This weekend we are celebrating Pentecost - the descent of the Holy Spirit!
Your participation will help make this a day to remember:
Wear clothing from your native country, if possible.
OR, wear RED!
Those who forget to wear festive or red clothing will be publicly flogged. Just
We will give you a Red Ribbon to wear!
Sadly, we have no volunteers to read a Prayer in a native language for Saturday night.
BUT THERE IS STILL TIME!
Contact Theresa Gaffney at 770-653-0803 if you would like to help on Saturday night!
We are very excited that we will have EIGHT languages represented on Sunday morning!
Language Volunteers, please plan to be at church by 10:45am so that we can check you in and give you instructions.
Mark your place of birth and country of origin on the large maps located on the windows!
This will help us have a visual image of the Universal Church!
BRING A DESSERT from your country to share with all of us!!
The long table against the windowed wall will be ready for you to drop off your dessert.
There will be slips provided for you to tell us the Dessert Name, the Country of Origin, and your name.
Please fill one out and put it in front of your dessert.
Also, please bring serving utensils.
We will enjoy these immediately after Mass!
Help us Celebrate the Holy Spirit!!
This will be a wonderful day, but we can’t do it without you!!
See you this weekend!!
