Ecumenical Lenten Service
You may remember that each year St. William hosts a Lenten Wednesday Ecumenical Service opened to all faiths in our communities. The service is conducted by Deacon Carl and each Wednesday we have a guest clergy from various churches within the Ministerial Association.
Sadly, due to COVID, we are unable to hold these services this year. Deacon Carl and I will be offering (via e-alert) the Reading for each Wednesday during Lent with an opening statement from Deacon Carl. The program always ended with the song
“Let there be peace on earth”
which will be included following the Reading.
This is truly a time for all of us to come together as one family and pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ. Perhaps you might consider sending a note or a card to someone you know in need of just a little extra kindness in their life. That simple gesture of kindness could make all the difference in the world to them.
For those who wish to follow the Way of the Cross, visit St. William's web page at st-william.net and click on the "Facebook" button at the top right side of the web page and follow the Stations.
Hopefully you will take advantage of these opportunities to enhance your Lenten experience.
