PRAYERS OF THE FAITHFUL – First Sunday of Lent-RCIA
Our catechumen, Sheryl Maureen Cottle, who is our sister, has traveled a long road. We rejoice with her in the gentle guidance of God who has brought her to this day. Let us pray that she may press onwards until she comes to share fully in our way of live.
PLEASE RESPOND: IN JESUS NAME WE PRAY
That God our Father may reveal his Christ to Sheryl more and more with every passing day, we pray to the Lord.
That Sheryl may undertake with a generous heart and soul whatever God may ask of her, we pray to the Lord.
That Sheryl may have our sincere and unfailing support every step of the way, we pray to the Lord.
That Sheryl may find in our community compelling signs of unity and generous love, we pray to the Lord.
That Sheryl’s heart and ours may become more responsive to the needs of others, we pray to the Lord.
That in due time, Sheryl may be found worthy to receive the baptism of new birth and renewal in the Holy Spirit, we pray to the Lord.
For the intentions placed in our prayer box, we pray to the Lord.
For all the sick especially Allie Mitchell, Skip Cunningham, Tim and Theresa Gaffney, Sonny Wilson and all those suffering from the Corona Virus, ____________________, that they may know our Lord’s healing touch, we pray to the Lord.
11:00AM Mass: For all the dead, may they now be found rejoicing at the table of the Lord especially H. Dorothy and John K Poltrock and Richard Smith, for whom this Mass is offered, we pray to the Lord.
We now pause in silence for the intentions we hold close to our hearts, we pray to the Lord.
